ECA Finance - Korean Speaking VP

We are seeking a seasoned professional VP to join a leading global bank's ECA Finance team in Asia Pacific, with a particular focus on Korea-related transactions. This is a strategic role supporting the regional head in driving origination and execution of ECA-backed financing solutions across both inbound and outbound mandates. The position offers high visibility, cross-border deal exposure, and the opportunity to work closely with Export Credit Agencies (notably K-Sure and KEXIM), as well as internal stakeholders across global offices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage inbound and outbound ECA finance transactions, especially in Korea.
• Originate new business opportunities and structure ECA-backed financing solutions in collaboration with global teams.
• Maintain strong relationships with Export Credit Agencies (ECAs), particularly K-Sure and KEXIM.
• Oversee deal execution, credit applications, and portfolio management.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across coverage, credit, and product teams.
• Support shipping finance transactions involving Korean ECAs.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities across trade, structured finance, and asset-based finance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in ECA finance, with proven deal leadership in Korea.
• Strong understanding of ECA-backed structures and banking operations.
• Excellent interpersonal and commercial skills.
• Degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Fluency in Korean
