Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Corporate Banking Relationship Manager to join an international bank's team in Singapore. This role focuses on managing existing portfolios while growing relationships with multinational clients across APAC, with a strong emphasis on the Commodities sector (Oil & Gas, Mining & Metals, Agriculture). Exposure to Renewables, Power & Infrastructure is highly desirable. The successful candidate will play a key role in origination, execution, and client engagement in a lean, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deepen relationships with multinational clients in the Asia Pacific region, primarily in Commodities and related sectors.
- Support in origination and execution of business opportunities with MNCs primarily focused in the Commodities space.
- Collaborate closely with Global Relationship Managers and product teams based in Hong Kong and China to deliver tailored solutions.
- Drive new ideas and strategies in the commodities space to enhance origination and revenue growth.
- Prepare and present credit applications, business plans, and client proposals.
- Maintain strong knowledge of industry trends, banking products, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure regular client engagement supported by actionable insights and call reports.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or related discipline; CFA preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in corporate banking or structured/project finance, with strong exposure to Commodities; experience in Renewables/Energy is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multinational clients and deliver complex banking solutions.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in English (additional languages advantageous).
- Willingness to work in a lean structure and collaborate across borders.
