Cash Equity Sales - Mandarin Speaking

Role Overview:

My client is seeking an experienced Cash Equity Sales professional to join our team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will focus on China A-shares and Hong Kong-listed equities, servicing hedge fund clients across the region. This is a senior-level role requiring strong product knowledge, client relationship management skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with hedge fund clients, providing timely market insights and trade ideas.
• Drive sales of China A-shares and Hong Kong equities, leveraging deep market knowledge and research resources.
• Collaborate closely with research, trading, and corporate access teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand wallet share with existing clients.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 6+ years in cash equity sales, with a proven track record of servicing hedge funds.
• Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of China A-shares and Hong Kong equities, including market structure and trading mechanisms.
• Language: Fluent Mandarin (spoken and written) is essential; English proficiency required.
• Client Coverage: Demonstrated experience covering hedge funds and driving revenue growth.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Existing network of hedge fund clients in Asia.
• Familiarity with corporate access and event-driven strategies.
• CFA or other relevant certifications are a plus.
