Overview
Our Client is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Post Trade Technology team, who are responsible for processing and storing all trading-related activity across the APAC region. This part of the team builds applications used to automate many of the post trade processes, and provides robust systems that comply with all financial, regulatory and accounting requirements across our various APAC regional locations.

What we're looking for:
- 3-5+ years of experience in software development (C#, ideally experience of working with databases such as Oracle)
- An excellent understanding and knowledge of Object-oriented programming
- A proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing client/server applications using C# and database
- Experience taking projects through the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering to production release
- Experience collaborating closely with core development/engineering teams to provide data and services to the business
- Clear understanding of architectural concepts and the fundamentals of good software design
- Solid grasp of design patterns and principles, particularly as they apply to Object Oriented Design (OOD)
- Experience with software testing strategies and approaches
- Broad experience and across various languages, technologies, and platforms and ability to adapt
- Demonstrated skills in diagnosing and solving technical and business problems
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
