AMC Structuring
Our client, a leading global financial institution is looking to hire a senior AMC Structuring & Trading specialist to support the continued build-out of its Actively Managed Certificate platform.
The role will focus on the structuring, execution and development of Actively Managed Certificates, strategy certificates, repack structures, SPV-issued notes and broader structured investment solutions across fixed income, credit, QIS and multi-asset strategies.
This is a highly commercial and technical role, sitting at the intersection of structuring, trading, sales, legal, platform development and distribution. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping convert investment strategies into investable, bankable products for clients including asset managers, wealth managers, family offices, brokers, private banks and institutional investors.
The individual will work closely with internal trading desks, sales, legal, risk, compliance, operations and external strategy providers to originate, structure, price, document and launch bespoke AMC solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Structure and execute Actively Managed Certificates, strategy certificates, repacks and SPV-issued note structures across fixed income, credit, QIS and broader investment strategies.
Work with asset managers, wealth managers, family offices, brokers and institutional clients to translate investment ideas into scalable, investable AMC products.
Define product terms, eligible assets, rebalancing rules, liquidity terms, fees, valuation mechanics and life cycle processes.
Partner with trading desks to price and risk manage AMC structures, including products linked to credit, bonds, derivatives, indices, QIS strategies and structured portfolios.
Coordinate the full product lifecycle from idea generation through to term sheet production, internal approvals, legal documentation, execution, launch and post-trade management.
Work closely with legal, tax, compliance, risk, operations and technology teams to support platform development and product governance.
Support the build-out and enhancement of the AMC platform, including workflow improvements, online platform functionality, manager onboarding and product scalability.
Develop solutions for clients seeking efficient access to actively managed strategies without launching a traditional fund structure.
Manage amendments, restructurings, corporate actions, rebalancing events and other lifecycle matters relating to existing AMC products.
Support distribution efforts across Europe, Asia and the US, working with sales teams and external partners to grow platform adoption.
Maintain strong awareness of regulatory, documentation, suitability and cross-border distribution considerations relating to structured products and AMCs.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- AMC structuring or trading
- Structured products structuring
- Credit / fixed income structuring
- Repackaging / SPV-issued notes
- Structured credit solutions
- QIS structuring
- Fund-linked or strategy-linked products
- Private bank / wealth management structured products
- Platform-based investment solutions
- Credit derivatives, CLNs, TRS, structured notes or repacks
The role would suit someone who has worked on platform products where the underlying portfolio or strategy can be actively managed over time.
