Overview
A leading global investment bank is seeking an FX Structurer to join its Global Markets business. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, pricing and delivering bespoke FX hedging, investment and risk management solutions for institutional, corporate and private bank clients. The role sits at the intersection of Sales, Trading and Quantitative teams, requiring strong technical expertise alongside commercial and client-facing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure and deliver a broad range of FX derivative solutions including options, forwards, swaps and hybrid products.
- Partner closely with FX Sales teams to originate and execute client opportunities.
- Develop tailored hedging strategies for corporate clients managing foreign exchange exposures.
- Create investment and yield-enhancement solutions for institutional and private banking clients.
- Prepare pricing, term sheets, marketing materials and scenario analyses for clients.
- Work alongside FX Trading desks to manage execution, risk considerations and product feasibility.
- Monitor market conditions, central bank policy developments and volatility trends to identify client opportunities.
- Support the development of new structured products, platform enhancements and revenue initiatives.
- Contribute to client pitches, RFP processes and strategic relationship management.
- Ensure all transactions comply with regulatory, legal and suitability requirements.
Requirements
- 3-12 years of experience within FX Structuring, Cross-Asset Structuring, Derivatives Structuring or a related Markets role.
- Strong understanding of FX options, forwards, swaps and exotic derivatives.
- Experience working directly with Sales teams and external clients.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Ability to explain complex derivative solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Commercial mindset with a focus on revenue generation and client solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
