Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years' experience as a Senior Systems Engineer
- Experience designing and implementing complex distributed systems
- Strong understanding of Linux-based operating system internals (e.g., filesystems, network stack)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and reliable trading platforms
- Monitor production environments to ensure maximum uptime while troubleshooting issues when they occur.
- Build automation tools using scripting languages such as Python/Perl/Bash/Ruby/etc.
- Work closely across multiple business units within IT Operations organization during implementation phases by validating requirements are met prior to go-live dates.
