Role Overview
As a Vice President, you will play a central role in the execution of complex M&A and capital markets advisory mandates, particularly in the context of public transactions, takeovers, and strategic defence situations.
You will work directly with senior leadership and clients, contributing both to execution and strategic advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of public M&A transactions, including takeovers, defence mandates, and strategic advisory engagements
- Manage day-to-day client interaction and drive workstreams across deal teams
- Oversee financial modelling, valuation, and transaction structuring with a strong capital markets lens
- Support origination efforts through idea generation and preparation of high-quality materials
- Coordinate junior team members and ensure high standards across deliverables
- Engage closely with boards, management teams, and investors in high-profile situations
Candidate Profile
- 5 to 8 years of experience within investment banking, M&A advisory, or capital markets
- Strong exposure to public M&A, ECM, or takeover situations highly preferred
- Excellent financial modelling and valuation skillset
- Demonstrated ability to manage workstreams and interact with senior stakeholders
- Strong academic background and professional track record
- Fluent in English and German
