We have a current opportunity with a restructuring firm. The position will be remote and based in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York.

Job Overview:
As a Turnaround and Restructuring Professional, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering fact-driven, solution-oriented consulting services. Your responsibilities will include overseeing multiple work streams and client projects, communicating results both internally and to client stakeholders, and helping develop the team and brand. You will work closely with clients to navigate financial distress, develop recovery strategies, manage liquidity, and guide them through bankruptcy proceedings if necessary. Additionally, you will provide interim and crisis leadership, ensuring that clients have the support they need during critical periods. Our client values strong lateral experience in turnaround and restructuring, bankruptcies, and the distressed space


Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality consulting services: Delivering fact-driven, solution-oriented results to meet client needs.
  • Managing multiple work streams and overseeing client projects: Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintaining client relationships: Building and sustaining strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Supporting the development of the Paladin team and brand: Contributing to the growth and reputation of the firm.
  • Offering analytical support and project leadership: Leading projects and providing detailed analytical insights.
  • Ensuring compliance with budget and covenants: Monitoring financial performance and ensuring adherence to financial agreements.
  • Developing financial models and managing liquidity: Creating financial models to support decision-making and managing cash flow.
  • Supporting transaction processes: Assisting in mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders: Clearly and concisely presenting information to clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Contributing to firm initiatives: Participating in internal projects to improve firm operations and client services.
  • Mentoring junior team members: Providing guidance and support to less experienced colleagues.
  • Participating in business development activities: Helping to identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the firm's client base.


Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in turnaround and restructuring consulting, investment banking, leveraged finance, private equity, FP&A, and/or corporate restructuring roles.
- CPA and CIRA certifications are also desired.
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex restructuring projects from inception to completion, delivering measurable results and value for clients.
- Deep understanding of financial analysis, accounting principles, and valuation methodologies, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders, demonstrating exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing capabilities.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on problem-solving, creativity, and innovation, coupled with a results-driven orientation and sense of urgency.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software tools.

Compensation Ranges:
- Base Salary: $90,000 - $160,000
