Position Overview
The Associate / Senior Associate will play a critical role in all aspects of the investment lifecycle, including deal sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling, transaction execution, and portfolio management. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and portfolio company management teams in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deal Evaluation & Execution
- Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify attractive investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess potential transactions.
- Support due diligence efforts including commercial, financial, operational, and legal reviews.
- Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda and presentations for the investment committee.
Portfolio Management
- Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to monitor performance and support strategic initiatives.
- Track KPIs and financial metrics to ensure alignment with investment thesis.
- Participate in board meetings and contribute to value creation planning.
Sourcing & Networking
- Develop relationships with intermediaries, business owners, and industry professionals.
- Support origination efforts through outreach and screening of inbound opportunities.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or corporate development.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Deep interest in industrials and manufacturing sectors.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus (for Senior Associate level).
