A San Mateo-based private equity firm is seeking a Business Development Analyst to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with a background in asset management or technology, and a strong track record in outbound sales and cold calling.
Responsibilities:
- Source and qualify new investor leads through outbound sales efforts
- Conduct outreach to family offices, ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWI), and high-net-worth individuals (HNWI)
- Build and maintain relationships with wealth managers and other key stakeholders
- Collaborate with senior leadership to refine outreach strategies and investor targeting
- Track engagement metrics and maintain CRM records
- Represent the firm at industry events and investor meetings
Qualifications:
- 2-6 years of experience in outbound sales within asset management or technology (BDR, SDR, Account Manager roles)
- Proven success in cold calling and lead generation
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Familiarity with private equity, alternative investments, or wealth management channels is a plus
- Self-starter with a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
