This team is comprised on sharp and diverse individuals, with senior leadership coming from top firms in the country focused on residential investments in San Francisco.
They are seeking an Asset Management Associate with 5+ years of experience to work on budgeting across multiple portfolios. Ideal candidates are current Asset Managment Associates with 5+ years of experience in Real Estate focusing on Residential portfolios and targeting lateral positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and manage 10+ budgets across portfolios.
- Monitor and analyze the financial performance of real estate assets, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Develop and implement asset-level business plans to maximize value and returns.
- Collaborate with property managers, leasing agents, and third-party vendors to ensure operational efficiency and tenant satisfaction.
- Prepare and present asset performance reports to senior management and investors.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform leasing strategies and capital improvement plans.
- Support acquisition and disposition efforts through due diligence, underwriting, and transition planning.
- Ensure compliance with loan covenants, investor requirements, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in private equity/real estate asset management, or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of real estate markets and investment strategies.
