Pricing Actuarial Analyst - ASA Designation
I'm partnering with a growing life & annuities compnay to add an Actuarial Analyst to its Pricing team. This role offers hands‑on exposure to pricing, model development, and rate setting within a collaborative, fast‑moving actuarial environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Build, maintain, and enhance actuarial models to support pricing, rate setting, and product management
- Analyze and communicate results to actuarial and cross‑functional stakeholders
- Support new product features, assumption updates, and model enhancements
- Improve data quality, documentation, and model efficiency through ongoing process improvements
- Collaborate with actuarial, finance, and product teams on ad‑hoc projects and business initiatives
What They're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, finance, economics, or a related field
- 2+ years of actuarial experience in life and/or annuities (pricing experience preferred)
- Progress toward ASA (or recently credentialed), with interest in continuing toward FSA
- Strong Excel skills (VBA a plus) and experience with databases or analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Access, Python)
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
