My client is a fast-growing, dynamic organization focused on building modern, scalable accounting processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its corporate accounting team in a high-visibility role offering broad exposure across multiple functions.
This position is ideal for someone looking to develop within a collaborative, fast-paced environment while gaining hands-on experience across areas such as revenue, payroll, fixed assets, leases, treasury, and consolidations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
- Perform variance analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial results
- Assist with process improvements, system enhancements, and special projects
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve accounting workflows and reporting accuracy
- Identify opportunities to strengthen controls, policies, and procedures
- Contribute to a collaborative and evolving team environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of public accounting and/or industry experience
- Strong foundation in corporate accounting principles
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
- Experience with accounting systems and process documentation
- Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- Experience with account reconciliations and workpaper preparation
