Our client is a Tier 1 Energy Trading firm with a global presence, who is hiring for a Power Originator to be based in Tokyo, Japan.
Responsibilities for the Power Originator [Tokyo] - Global Energy Trading Firm:
- Engage in Business Development and Origination efforts to identify and engage with new client segments for the Business
- Manage the Power and/or Electricity trading prospect from start to end of the deal(s), including negotiating, structuring, etc.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to create customised products based on the clients' needs
- Engage with internal stakeholders on upstream and downstream integration potential
Requirements for the Power Originator [Tokyo] - Global Energy Trading Firm:
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in a similar field preferably in the Japan Power markets and Retail Electricity / Utilities markets
- Established network in the Japan Power industry with strong interpersonal skills
- Fluency in Japanese and English is required for the success of this role
- Self starter ability and strong teamwork skills
