My client, a rapidly growing Insurtech company, is hiring a Management Liability Underwriter to join their dynamic and innovative underwriting team. Key Responsibilities:
Underwrite and manage a portfolio of Management Liability risks, with a primary focus on:
Directors & Officers (D&O)
Employment Practices Liability (EPL)
Fiduciary Liability
Crime coverage
Evaluate and analyze submissions to determine risk appetite and pricing strategy in line with company guidelines.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including product, actuarial, and engineering teams to improve underwriting tools and automation strategies.
Build and maintain strong broker and client relationships to grow a profitable book of business.
Stay current with legal, regulatory, and market developments affecting Management Liability products.
Requirements:
5-7 years of underwriting experience in Management Liability, with a strong focus on D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, and Crime lines.
Proven ability to assess complex risks and make sound underwriting decisions.
Experience working in or with technology-driven insurance platforms or a strong interest in the Insurtech space.
Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship management skills.
Strong understanding of market trends and appetite in the Management Liability space.
