Company Summary:

We are currently partnered with a top-tier Engineering and Consulting firm looking to add an Investment Reporting Analyst to their team in Charlotte. This is a dynamic opportunity to work closely with the CEO and CFO, gaining deep exposure to investment operations, financial reporting, and strategic initiatives that support the firm's continued growth.

Investor Reporting Analyst Responsibilities:

This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in financial reporting, investment analysis, and preferably experience in project-driven industries such as engineering, construction, or consulting. Exposure to international trade treaties or cross-border investment structures is a plus, as the firm continues to expand its global footprint.

You'll have the chance to grow within a high-performing finance team, contribute to strategic decision-making, and help scale the firm's investment infrastructure as it evolves.

  • Preparing and analyzing investment performance reports across multiple portfolios and project-based assets

  • Supporting quarterly and annual reporting cycles for internal stakeholders and external investors

  • Assisting with capital allocation strategies, cash flow forecasting, and ROI tracking for engineering and infrastructure projects

  • Collaborating with finance, tax, and operations teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with trade and investment regulations

  • Helping evaluate new investment opportunities and contribute to due diligence efforts

Investor Reporting Analyst Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

  • CPA or CFA designation preferred

  • Advanced degree (e.g., Master's in Finance or Accounting) is a plus

  • 3-5+ years of experience in investment reporting, financial analysis, or project accounting

  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling) and PowerPoint

  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data across multiple projects and entities

Expertise:

  • Prior experience in engineering, construction, or project-based industries highly preferred

  • Understanding of project lifecycle accounting, including WIP schedules, cost-to-complete forecasting, and capital expenditure tracking

  • Exposure to investor communications, including quarterly reporting, debt service coverage ratios, and audited financial statements

  • Knowledge of international trade treaties and their impact on cross-border investment structures is a strong plus
