Investment Director
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA, CFA, or CPA designation strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in investment management, private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or corporate development.
- Proven track record of leading complex investment transactions from origination to exit.
- Deep understanding of capital markets, financial instruments, and investment structures.
- Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen, with the ability to identify and assess long-term value drivers.
- Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Experience in managing cross-border investments and navigating regulatory environments.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, fund managers, and industry stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to mentor and develop junior talent.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and board members.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin or other languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles and impact investing is a plus.
- Experience in a specific sector (e.g., technology, healthcare, energy, real estate) is advantageous depending on the company's focus.
