Investor Services Associate
Our client is an alternative investment manager managing over $15 billion assets under management. They specialize in numerous macro strategies and strive to deliver significant returns across market environments. Our client is looking for an Investor Services Associate to join its Investor Relations team. This person will support both institutional and private wealth clients, while focusing on operational due diligence and client services. In this role, there will be opportunities to work with other teams including Business Development, Marketing, Compliance, Legal, Fund Administration, Technology, and Trading Services. This position will focus on soft skills, and the client is looking for someone who can be trusted and held accountable.
Responsibilities
- Completion of DDQs, custom questionnaires, follow-up queries, and supporting the company's response to investor operational due diligence reviews
- Communicating effectively with internal teams
- Ensuring up to date investor-facing documents and assisting with meeting preparation including custom materials and memos
- Working closely with the Investor Relations team to manage existing relationships and ensure new investor connections are supported
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-10 years of relevant experience in alternative investments, ideally hedge funds
- Understanding of hedge fund structures, fund operations and due diligence requirements of institutional allocators
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment that shares success
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with CRM systems
- Previous knowledge of operational due diligence or client service experience at a hedge fund is favored
- Series 3 will be required after joining
- Requires in-person in CT office Mondays through Fridays
Base Salary Range-The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $165,000 and will be determined based on prior experience, qualifications, and expertise. This base range does not include benefits or any other forms of compensation.
