Investment Banking Associate
We is currently partnered with a leading boutique investment bank seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join their Consumer team in Los Angeles. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing platform with strong deal flow, a collaborative culture, and a focus on middle-market M&A transactions.
The Associate will play a key role in the execution of live deals, client relationship management, and the development of junior team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, transaction execution, and a demonstrated interest in the consumer sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the execution of M&A transactions across the consumer space
- Build detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and client presentations
- Conduct industry and company-specific research to support deal execution and business development
- Coordinate due diligence processes and manage workstreams across internal and external stakeholders
- Mentor and train Analysts and interns on deal execution and technical skills
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to strategic discussions
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related financial services role
- Strong technical skills in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction analysis
- Excellent communication and project management abilities
- Demonstrated interest or experience in the consumer sector is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; MBA is a plus but not required
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Los Angeles
