About the Opportunity
Our client, an established global mid-market investment bank, is expanding its Industrials group and seeking a talented Investment Banking Associate to join their team in Chicago which primarily focuses on M&A across the Transportation & Logistics sector. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic group that is experiencing significant growth and plays a critical role in advising clients across the transportation and logistics sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute M&A transactions, capital raises, and strategic advisory engagements within the transportation and logistics vertical.
- Develop and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and client presentations.
- Manage day-to-day deal execution, including due diligence and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support senior bankers in business development efforts and client relationship management.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5 years of investment banking experience, ideally with exposure to Industrials or related sectors.
- Strong technical skills in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction execution.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to interact with senior executives and clients.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
