Due to sustained deal flow and continued sector expansion, the team is seeking to add an Experienced Associate to its Chicago‑based Business Services group.

This is a hands‑on execution role within a flat, collaborative team structure, where Associates are core contributors across all phases of M&A transactions. Role Responsibilities
Associates are expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy while partnering closely with Vice Presidents and Managing Directors. Responsibilities include:
- Leading financial modeling and valuation analyses (operating models, DCFs, transaction comps, LBOs)
- Playing a central role in sell‑side and buy‑side M&A execution
- Drafting and coordinating marketing materials (CIMs, management presentations)
- Managing diligence processes, data rooms, and buyer interactions
- Overseeing and mentoring Analysts; reviewing work product
- Participating in client meetings and strategic discussions
- Supporting business development and sector‑building initiatives
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will bring a strong execution background and thrive in a lean, intellectually rigorous, and relationship‑oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- Prior Investment Banking Associate experience (preferably an A-to-A promote)
- Background at a middle‑market, upper‑middle‑market, elite boutique, or bulge bracket firm
- Significant M&A transaction experience, with a strong preference for sell‑side processes
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation capabilities
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Professional maturity and comfort interacting with clients and senior bankers
