The Opportunity
The incoming VP/Director will play a key role in leading and executing middle‑market Healthcare Services M&A transactions, working closely with senior leadership, clients, and financial sponsors. This individual will have meaningful responsibility across deal execution, client interaction, and mentoring junior bankers, with a clear and accelerated path for advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute sell‑side and buy‑side M&A transactions across Healthcare Services
- Serve as a day‑to‑day point of contact for clients, buyers, and financial sponsors
- Oversee financial modeling, valuation, diligence, and transaction materials
- Manage and mentor Associates and Analysts through live deal execution
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to practice growth
Candidate Profile
- Vice President or Director currently at an investment bank or healthcare‑focused advisory firm
- Significant prior Healthcare M&A experience is required, ideally within Healthcare Services
- Strong transaction execution background with meaningful deal reps
- Proven ability to manage processes and junior team members
- Based in Chicago or Boston, or open to relocating to one of those markets
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in helping grow a specialized platform
