High Yield Credit Analyst
We are currently working with an exceptional credit fund seeking a High Yield Credit Analyst to join their growing team as they enter a period of expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth fundamental credit analysis on a wide range of corporate issuers across multiple sectors.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support investment recommendations.
- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in both long and short positions within the credit markets.
- Monitor and analyse market trends, economic indicators, and credit events to inform investment decisions.
- Collaborate closely with portfolio managers to develop and execute investment strategies.
- Present investment ideas and research findings to the investment committee and senior management.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and market dynamics impacting credit markets.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Credit Analysis, Credit Research, Leveraged Finance, M&A, or related field.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to dissect complex credit structures.
- In-depth knowledge of credit markets, including high yield, investment grade, and distressed.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate investment theses clearly and concisely.
- Self-motivated, with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Advanced degree in finance, economics, or a related field preferred; CFA is a plus.
