AI Engineer
Overview: This client is looking for a strong Data professional to step into their new AI Engineer opening. The company itself is one of Boston's leading Asset Management firms, with the HQ being in New York City. They also have presence in London, and are open to candidates sitting in NYC, Boston, or London!
Role: This position is apart of the firm's Competitive Intelligence arm, where you will have the chance to meet and understand the core business requirements from the heads and managers of those units (Legal, Compliance, Business Dev, etc) to then be able to translate that into AI solutions for their respective needs. As technology evolves and companies identify AI use cases, this is a chance to significantly help out this firm to maintain their cutting edge of technology focus!
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters in a Quantitative Field (Comp Sci, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or related)
- 2-4 years within AI/ML
- 5-7+ years within the data space (engineering, science, etc.)
- Ability to translate data into insights leveraging BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or related
- Experience working with Salesforce as a data source, and ideally Snowflake for data warehousing
- Programming leveraging Python, with related AI/ML libraries preferred
- Data processing experience ideally with Vector Databases and RAG, or Airflow, Spark, DBT, or others
- NLP and Generative AI techniques a plus
- Cloud Platform exposure (AWS, GCP or Azure, AWS being ideal)
