Fund Accountant
- Fund Accounting: Prepare and review NAV calculations, reconcile cash and positions, and ensure accurate income and expense tracking.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements in line with GAAP/IFRS and support external audit processes.
- Trade Operations: Oversee trade lifecycle activities including capture, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Process Improvement: Analyze workflows to enhance efficiency, automate processes, and maintain robust internal controls.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with portfolio managers, compliance, IT, and support onboarding of new funds and counterparties.
- 3-6 years of experience in fund accounting, operations, or financial services.
- CPA or CFA designation (or progress toward certification) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives, etc.).
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with fund accounting systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Investran, Advent) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
