FP&A Manager
We are partnered with an energy firm that is looking to hire an FP&A Manager for their team. The manager will play a a key role in shaping corporate strategy, decision making, development, and finance management. They report to the COO, and will lead the cross-functional analyses, refine strategy, and strengthen company competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine corporate strategy
- Maintain, improve, and interpret power market and financial models
- Lead and coordinate cross functional work streams
- Conduct strategic deep dives on emerging tech
- Support M&A assessments and corporate development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, econ, engineering, energy systems, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 4-7 years experience in renewable energy, power markets, strategy consulting, corporate strategy, energy finance
- Strong understanding of U.S. competitive power markets, energy tech, industry economics
- Advanced financial and market modeling capabilities in Excel
- Demonstrated use of Python, Tableau, SQL
- Exceptional communication skills
- Power market fundamental experience
- Corporate strategy support experience
Physical requirements:
- Be able to sit/stand at a desk
- Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, walk, lift, push/pull objects up to 20lbs
- Able to spend lengths of time online, working with company technology
