FP&A Manager
Our client is a well-established financial services firm headquartered in Los Angeles, committed to delivering innovative solutions and strategic financial guidance to their clients. They are looking to build out their corporate finance function by bringing on an FP&A Manager to their team.
The FP&A Manager will lead the financial planning and analysis function, providing strategic insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership. This role is critical in driving performance through budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts.
- Collaborate with department heads to align financial plans with strategic goals.
- Monitor performance against budget and identify key variances.
- Develop financial models for strategic initiatives such as market expansion and capital investments.
- Track financial and operational KPIs.
- Identify risks and opportunities to enhance profitability and efficiency.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing FP&A team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Excel; experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive Insights) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in financial services or related industry preferred.
