Finance Manager
Overview:
Step into a high‑impact leadership role overseeing financial management for a large, multisite physician services organization. This position leads accounting operations, drives efficient and standardized reporting practices, and partners across the enterprise to support organizational goals. You will guide a skilled team, optimize systems and processes, and play a key role in monthly close, quarterly and annual reporting, and audited financial statements.
What You'll Do
- Lead financial management activities for a major physician services division
- Direct monthly close processes and internal/external reporting
- Ensure consistent, efficient reporting practices across the organization
- Mentor staff, refine workflows, and maximize system utilization
- Drive operational excellence and process improvements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration with an accounting concentration
- 5+ years of accounting experience with a national or large regional CPA firm or medical group practice
- Minimum 1 year in a supervisory role
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA strongly preferred (or additional healthcare experience accepted in lieu)
- Master's degree in accounting, finance, or business a plus
- Strong communication, initiative, and independent problem‑solving skills
- Proven management abilities, including mentoring, training, and HR oversight
- Proficiency with advanced software applications
- Strong analytical and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
