Finance Manager
A leading mortgage advising investment firm is seeking a seasoned finance manager to lead a fantastic team of 11 professionals whilst maintaining the highest of standards for most reporting and accounting tasks. Are you ready for your next challenge? Then this is for you!
The Role:
- Inspire and lead a dynamic team of 11 financial professionals
- Orchestrate daily activities and foster the company culture
- Drive quality, efficiency, and progress in all processes
- Conduct insightful planning, performance, and assessment reviews
- Participate in the recruitment of new team members
- Deliver impactful reports to the Head of Accounting & Reporting
- Uncover opportunities for innovation and process enhancements
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure seamless and up-to-date process documentation and administrative tasks
- Take lead with regards to ISAE 3402, especially with the financial controllers
- Co-create and execute the Finance annual plan
The Candidate:
- HBO education or equivalent work/thinking level
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- 2+ years in a managerial role
- Energetic leader with excellent communication skills
- Organisationally sensitive and collaborative
- Strong analytical skills
- Customer-oriented and solution-focused
- Driven to develop employees and share knowledge
- Hands-on, flexible, and quick to adapt
- Knowledge of mortgage products and business processes
- Experience with accounting packages and bookkeeping
- Familiarity with Risk Management and Lean/Agile principles
- Fluency in Dutch
