About the Role
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a cutting-edge High-Frequency Trading (HFT) firm in South Holland. In this role, you will work closely with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams to design, implement, and maintain ultra-low-latency systems that power our trading strategies. Your work will directly impact performance and reliability in one of the most competitive markets in the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-performance, low-latency infrastructure for trading systems.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of critical services.
- Optimize Linux-based environments for speed and reliability.
- Collaborate with developers to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve release processes.
- Ensure system security, resilience, and compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in real-time.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with Linux systems administration and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, multicast, low-latency tuning).
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
- Previous experience in trading, HFT, or financial markets is a plus.
