Out client is a top P&C insurance carrier that has been around for over 60 years, looking to grow their data science team! You will have the opportunity to work on a dedicated data science team, committed to transforming the industry through data-driven insights and innovative solutions. This successful team leverages advanced analytics, machine learning, and big data technologies to enhance risk assessment, and optimize underwriting processes
Responsibilities:
- Analyze large data sets to identify trends and patterns relevant to insurance products and services.
- Develop and implement predictive models to improve risk assessment and underwriting processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of data pipelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Commercial or Personal lines experience.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms.
