Responsibilities
- To acquire and manage clients in the commodities sector, including institutional investors and asset managers, by identifying prospects, generating leads, and conducting market analysis.
- Responsible for building strong client relationships, understanding their investment goals, and offering tailored advice on commodities derivatives.
- The position also includes executing sales, coordinating with trading desks, negotiating terms, and staying informed on market trends and regulations.
- Additionally, collaborating with risk teams to ensure compliance and educate clients on risk strategies, while also conducting market research and reporting insights and performance to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field is required, with advanced degrees preferred.
- Candidates should have a strong grasp of commodities markets, derivatives, and risk management, along with at least five years of experience in sales or relationship management within financial services or commodities.
- Key strengths include excellent networking, communication, and presentation skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in financial software and trading platforms.
