Capital Policy Director
A Global Investment Bank in Charlotte, who has recently expanded their Capital Management and Policy functions, is looking to hire a Director to join their Capital Reporting & Research team to primarily focus on conducting capital planning, forecasting, risk identification, or stress testing activities to evaluate capital adequacy and resilience.
This individual will act as a key point of contact within the team and will ensure that the appropriate frameworks are in place for all capital management reports or forecasts. They will also drive improvements to the regulatory reporting and forecasting processes.
The firm is targeting individuals with 10+ years of experience in Capital Management or Regulatory Capital Policy. This firm is known for having some of the best culture and work life balance on the street and prides itself on maintaining these standards.
Role Objectives
- Collaborate with Risk Management and Regulatory Teams to support capital planning and reporting activities
- Identify and analyze RWA and ROE optimization opportunities
- Advise the team on new and existing regulatory capital rules interpretation
- Enhance the efficiency of capital reporting planning and forecasting functions
- Provide analysis and reporting fulfill external regulatory requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Capital Management or Regulatory Capital Policy.
- Large data set experience
- Experience in excel, Power Query and VBA.
- Can deliver accurate and complete reports to partners
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Can simplify complex issues and communicate them to the team
