Job Title: C# Strategy Developer

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Options Trading desk. In this role, you will primarily work on market making strategies used by the Options trading desk.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement backend/server-side applications using C# as the primary development language.
  • Take projects through the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering to production release.
  • Collaborate closely with traders to develop high-performance C# trading applications.
  • Work with quantitative researchers to implement trading models and signals.
  • Partner with other technology teams to develop integrated technical solutions for trading.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional C# development skills with extensive knowledge of design, profiling, OOP, multi-threading, and performance focused on back-end development.
  • Proven track record or knowledge of market making or order routing systems development.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience in C++ and Python on Windows or Linux is beneficial but not essential.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Expert knowledge of financial markets and derivatives products.
