Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Agentic AI Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale AI agent solutions. This role sits at the intersection of Generative AI, cloud engineering, data platforms, and software architecture, with responsibility for building autonomous systems that solve complex operational and business challenges.
You will partner closely with AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Platform Engineers, and business stakeholders to transform emerging AI technologies into secure, scalable, production-grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop autonomous AI agents capable of advanced reasoning, planning, and tool execution.
- Build agent orchestration frameworks that integrate LLMs with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and internal platforms.
- Develop agent evaluation and testing frameworks to measure reliability, performance, and business impact.
- Profile and optimise AI inference workloads, agent performance, and system scalability.
- Design and implement multi-agent architectures leveraging modern agent communication standards and frameworks.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting deployment into Kubernetes and containerised cloud environments.
- Implement security controls, governance processes, and risk mitigation strategies for AI-powered systems.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship across Agentic AI architecture, deployment, and optimisation best practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- 8+ years' experience delivering large-scale software, machine learning, data, or AI systems.
- Proven experience developing Generative AI applications and autonomous AI agents in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, tool calling, agent orchestration, and advanced reasoning techniques.
- Hands-on experience building RAG solutions, vector databases, embeddings, and enterprise knowledge retrieval systems.
- Experience deploying AI workloads on Kubernetes and containerised infrastructure.
- Familiarity with cloud-native architecture, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of AI security, access control, governance frameworks, and prompt injection mitigation.
- Strong software engineering and programming skills with a focus on scalable production systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Multi-agent system design and orchestration.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, Microsoft Agent Framework, or Google Agent Development Kit.
- LLM inference optimisation using technologies such as vLLM or TensorRT-LLM.
- TypeScript and/or Rust development experience.
- Exposure to industrial AI, computer vision, or advanced analytics environments.
