Job Description
My client is seeking a Manager to work closely with senior leaders and fellow consultants while contributing to a wide range of client engagements. Over time, this individual will interact directly with clients, which may include insurance organizations, healthcare systems, regulatory bodies, large employers with captive programs, and private investment firms. The role sits within a highly motivated, intellectually strong team in a rapidly growing practice.

Representative Project Areas
- Valuation and reserve development for medical and other accident and health products
- Captive feasibility analysis, funding strategies, reserving, and risk and capital management
- Merger and acquisition support, including diligence and transaction advisory
- Economic capital modeling and enterprise risk management initiatives
- Regulatory support, including financial examinations and transaction reviews
- Support for pricing, product development, strategy, and other advisory work across multiple lines of business
Qualifications and Desired Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field
- Significant progress with actuarial examinations; ASA or FSA strongly preferred
- 5+ years of actuarial experience, ideally within the health insurance or healthcare provider markets
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated project management capabilities
- Proven track record of rapid learning, high performance, and professional growth
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- High level of motivation and comfort operating in a dynamic, evolving setting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
- Experience with R, SAS, SQL, VBA, or other programming languages is a plus
