Actuarial Consultant, COLI Product Management
About the Role:
A leading international life insurance group is seeking an Actuarial Consultant to join its Actuarial Student Program and support the Corporate-Owned Life Insurance (COLI) Product Management team. This is a unique opportunity to work on a variety of actuarial functions while progressing toward Fellowship with the Society of Actuaries (FSA).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct annual experience analyses, including mortality and surrender trends.
- Assist in setting credited and loan interest rates.
- Support mortality experience adjustments for experience-rated cases.
- Contribute to system conversion projects and create policy illustrations.
- Identify and implement process improvements and reporting enhancements.
- Develop and maintain analytical tools and models for risk management, valuation, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Risk, IT, Finance, Investments, and Modeling.
- Participate in ad hoc projects aligned with strategic business goals.
About the Actuarial Student Program:
This rotational program is designed to develop future actuarial leaders through diverse assignments across pricing, valuation, ALM, forecasting, ERM, and investment management. Rotations typically last 12-18 months and are supported by a mentorship committee including senior actuarial leadership.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
- At least two passed actuarial exams.
- Internship or work experience in insurance or finance preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with R, Power BI, and SQL is a plus.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
