Actuarial Analyst II
An established Arizona-based health plan is seeking to expand its Government Programs team. Position Type: Hybrid or Fully Remote (must reside in Arizona)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with determining competitive premium levels for Individual, Commercial and Government products
- Prepare and submit rate filings to Federal and State authorities
- Conduct trend analysis and projections, including IBNR development
- Analyze benefit changes, prepare competitive analysis and summarize results
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in actuarial services within a health plan or a similar organization
- Minimum of 3 actuarial exams passed towards ASA
- Proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing and presentation software
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to all levels in all departments.
- Ability to summarize technical information to a non-technical audience.
