Position Summary

The Vice President of Asset Management will lead the strategic oversight of the firm's growing portfolio, with a primary focus on maximizing asset performance and value. This individual will work closely with internal teams and third-party partners to execute business plans, monitor financial and operational performance, and drive long-term value across the multifamily and industrial portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of asset-level business plans, including leasing strategies, capital improvements, and repositioning initiatives.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Manage third-party property management and leasing teams to ensure alignment with asset strategy and performance goals.
  • Conduct regular site visits and operational reviews to ensure optimal property performance.
  • Collaborate with acquisitions, construction, and finance teams to ensure seamless transitions from acquisition through stabilization and disposition.
  • Prepare and present asset performance updates to senior leadership and investors.
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies and revenue enhancement opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years of experience in real estate asset management, with a strong background in multifamily and/or industrial properties.
  • Proven track record of driving asset performance and executing value-add strategies.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including experience with property-level financials and investment modeling.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Southeastern U.S. real estate markets is a plus.
