A leading venture capital firm is seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join their Investment Team. This role offers immediate responsibility and exposure to early-stage investing in fintech and climate tech. The ideal candidate is analytical, entrepreneurial, and passionate about technology and financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing: Represent the firm at industry events and conferences, build relationships with startups and investors, and identify promising early-stage opportunities.
- Pipeline Management: Track deal flow and maintain organized records of startups and market activity using internal tools.
- Investment Analysis: Support due diligence, financial modeling, and market research across a high volume of transactions. Evaluate business models and assess founder assumptions.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, private equity, or a similarly rigorous environment.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
- Deep interest in fintech and emerging technologies.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven.
