Senior Financial Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the monthly and quarterly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and deliver internal and external financial reports, including those required by the parent organization.
- Review journal entries and reconcile key schedules to the general ledger.
- Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly expense reports and annual budgets.
- Approve journal entries submitted by junior staff and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting operations and enhance reporting efficiency.
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual processes and increase value-added analysis.
- Participate in special projects, including pro forma modeling and strategic planning efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of accounting experience, preferably within the insurance industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis and planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or SQL is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
