Senior Finance Associate
Overview:
This role provides direct quantitative and qualitative support to senior finance leadership and other executives. The position is primarily remote, with occasional in-person requirements in the local area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive three-statement financial forecast model for annual budgeting and long-term planning.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses on business partners, including credit and portfolio evaluations, pricing, and profitability assessments.
- Prepare presentations for senior leadership and board-level audiences.
- Assist with credit facility negotiations and manage lender relationships.
- Deliver ad hoc financial analyses for executive decision-making.
- Collaborate with Accounting and IT teams to design and implement reports highlighting key business metrics.
- Support strategic and corporate development initiatives, including M&A and investor-related transactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related analytical field with strong academic performance.
- 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis within investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, valuation, or similar environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel modeling and PowerPoint.
- Solid understanding of finance and GAAP accounting principles.
- Experience with three-statement financial modeling and interdependencies.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex financial data effectively.
- Self-starter with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- SQL or BI tool experience preferred.
