Position Overview
A leading global financial institution is seeking a seasoned Senior Credit Manager to join its Specialized Finance Risk team, with a primary focus on the U.S. Commercial Real Estate (CRE) portfolio. This role is instrumental in managing credit risk across origination, underwriting, and portfolio management activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Make final credit decisions and rating assessments using expert judgment.
- Manage a portfolio of complex counterparties and exposures, including early detection of credit deterioration and stress testing.
- Collaborate with business teams to support revenue growth while ensuring robust risk mitigation.
- Participate in early-stage deal screening, due diligence, and structuring of transactions.
- Deliver periodic portfolio and industry reviews to senior stakeholders.
- Define and communicate risk control parameters aligned with the organization's risk appetite.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven ability to make sound credit decisions with limited information under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with borrowers, sponsors, and internal stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of creditor documentation and diverse credit scenarios.

- Extensive experience in U.S. Commercial Real Estate finance.
