Real Estate Private Equity Vice President

On behalf of our client, a real estate private equity firm with over $1 billion in assets under management, we are seeking a Vice President to join their investment team. The firm is actively expanding its footprint in Senior Living and Life Sciences real estate, and this role will be pivotal in driving both acquisition and asset management strategies across these sectors.

Role Summary:
The Vice President will lead end-to-end investment execution and portfolio oversight for senior living and life sciences assets. This includes sourcing and underwriting new opportunities, managing existing investments, and collaborating with operating partners to maximize value creation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate, and execute acquisitions across senior living and life sciences verticals.
  • Lead underwriting, due diligence, and transaction structuring.
  • Oversee asset performance, including business plan execution, leasing, capital projects, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models and investment committee materials.
  • Monitor market trends and identify strategic growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, operators, and capital partners.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in real estate private equity, investment banking, or institutional real estate.
  • Demonstrated expertise in both acquisitions and asset management.
  • Sector experience in senior living and/or life sciences is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical, modeling, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to lead transactions and manage complex assets.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
