Private Equity Associate
A long standing and highly regarded LMM Industrials Buyout Private Equity firm based out of rural Tennessee is looking to add on an Associate to their team between now and the start of 2026. This would be a career track style role and given the leanness of the team you would get to participate in all parts of the deal process right at the start of your time with the firm. This organization offers strong mentorship opportunities as well as has a culture where work life balance is truly a priority for the team. The ideal candidate for this role would have ties to Tennessee, 2-3 years of IB experience doing M&A related transactions, and be interested in working in the Industrials sector.

Private Equity Associate Responsibilities:
- Conducting market research and leading business and industry diligence for prospective investments
- Developing investment memorandum and materials to presenting directly to investment committee
- Complex financial modeling
- Working directly with management teams of portfolio companies post transaction close
- Directly supporting senior members of the team in addition to ad hoc projects
Private Equity Associate Requirements:
- 2-3 years of Investment Banking experience doing M&A related transactions (Industrials experience is a plus)
- Bachelor's degree with strong GPA (Finance or Economics major preferred)
- Solid modelling and analytical skills
- Proven ability to handle simultaneous tasks with deadlines
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- A desire to live and work in TN
