Investments Associate
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investments Associate to join our client's real estate team in Boca Raton, FL. This role will focus on retail and office property types, supporting the full investment lifecycle including acquisitions, asset management, and development. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a passion for real estate, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Acquisitions:
- Assist in sourcing and underwriting new retail and office investment opportunities.
- Conduct market research, financial modeling, and due diligence.
- Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with brokers, sellers, legal teams, and third-party consultants during transaction processes.
Asset Management:
- Monitor performance of existing assets and implement strategies to maximize value.
- Analyze leasing activity, capital expenditures, and operational performance.
- Collaborate with property management and leasing teams to drive NOI growth.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly asset reports for senior leadership and investors.
Development:
- Support feasibility analysis and underwriting for ground-up and redevelopment projects.
- Assist in managing project budgets, timelines, and coordination with design and construction teams.
- Track entitlement processes and liaise with local municipalities and consultants.
- Contribute to strategic planning and execution of development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field; MBA or Master's in Real Estate a plus.
- 2-5 years of experience in real estate investments, acquisitions, or asset management.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Argus, and financial modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the South Florida real estate market preferred.
