Firm overview: We're currently partnered with an extremely active and growth oriented boutique middle market investment bank focused on the Healthcare, Education, and Technology/TMT industries. Given the firm's active dealflow, they're looking for a Director to join the team to focus on assisting in deal execution and spearhead the growth of the firm. This individual will have the opportunity to work closely with the senior leaders at the firm, and the potential to build out a team underneath them. This opportunity also offers a clear pathway for growth and career advancement, with the potential to head up new offices and take ownership over different industry verticals.
The Investment Banking Director will be responsible for:
- Act as a primary point of contact for new and existing clients
- Quarterbacking deals
- Leading and mentoring junior resources
- Coordinating due diligence, valuation, modelling, and market analysis
- Maintain deal timelines and ensure deliverables are met
- Provide strategic advice based on client goals, industry trends, and market conditions
The Investment Banking Director should have:
- 8+ years of experience in investment banking (Healthcare, Technology/TMT, or Education sector preferred but not required)
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience leading transactions from start to finish
- Strong M&A reps
