Our client, a leading healthcare‑focused boutique investment bank, is seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Analyst to join its Healthcare Services team in New York City. About the Role
As an Analyst on the Healthcare Services team, you will play an integral role in transaction execution and client coverage. You will work closely with senior bankers on M&A advisory assignments, capital raising transactions, and strategic advisory engagements across the healthcare services sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Support execution of M&A, strategic advisory, and capital markets transactions
- Develop detailed financial models and valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, comparables, precedent transactions)
- Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and investment memoranda
- Conduct industry and company-specific research across various healthcare services verticals
- Participate in due diligence processes and coordinate with third‑party advisors
- Work directly with senior team members and gain exposure to clients early in the process
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of investment banking experience (bulge bracket, elite boutique, or strong middle‑market experience preferred)
- Strong analytical, modeling, and financial statement analysis skills
- Demonstrated interest in healthcare or healthcare services (a plus but not required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment
- A collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail
