Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced E&S Personal Lines Underwriter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Excess & Surplus (E&S) and Personal Lines underwriting, with a proven ability to manage both new business and renewals across multiple U.S. territories. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and autonomy for a seasoned professional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite and manage E&S Personal Lines accounts, including new business and renewals.
- Evaluate risk, determine appropriate coverage, and set pricing in accordance with company guidelines.
- Collaborate with agents and brokers to deliver competitive and profitable solutions.
- Maintain compliance with underwriting authority and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize AIM and ImageWrite systems for policy management and documentation.
- Provide exceptional service and support to agency partners across multiple territories.
Qualifications:
- 6-7 years of underwriting experience, preferably in E&S and Personal Lines.
- Must have experience in both E&S and admitted markets.
- Prior experience working for an MGA (preferred over carrier experience).
- Proficiency with AIM and ImageWrite systems.
- Strong knowledge of underwriting practices across U.S. territories.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
